Sounds like a Michael Scott way of saying “I was the one who wrote the code”

Last month I was in that situation, except it was project manager instead of jr. dev.

I do more BA work than actual dev these days, but this pretty much sums up my life. People will ask, “wow, how did you figure out what was wrong so fast?” And the answer is almost always, “because I write shitty requirements.”
