This is called Both Sides Comedy. His opinion seems to be “other countries are bad too!”
That’s what I thought at first but I can see the point he raises in second half, about how this might lead to Saudi Arabia becoming more open in the future. I don’t fully agree with it but I guess Trevor might be an optimistic person, unlike me.
Nah, he’s friends with these guys. He was so close to reaching the right conclusion when he said it’s a different matter if the government is paying you… but then he changes it into a ‘both sides’ bit. He’s explicitly advertising that he’s for sale for the right price.
