I’m sorry, but if classically trained actors keeping a straight face while performing opposite a costumed dog is “dull”, I don’t want to know what’s entertaining.
Don’t misunderstand me - it’s high quality TV and I stand by it. It just, for me, is a little more low voltage than I remember it. Next to the tight pacing, bright colours, and punchy writing of most animated kids shows, anyway.
I show my kid this show, once in a while. A lot of it holds up. Little dull for grown-ups though
