Interesting read, but I feel like it didn’t really answer the article title. Why don’t small nests fall? Specially once they are abandoned when birds migrate?

It’s an interesting article, but unfortunately it only mentions the specific bird as the last line. It references another article that talks exclusively about that bird, the Manu-o-Kū (Gygis alba).
