I have an opinion that Toyota should use the insurgencies for advertising. There’s no better ad for a truck than them being used for rugged reliable transport in a war zone. You don’t see them driving Ford f150s, because they don’t actually make sense for a utility vehicle. Meanwhile there are little Toyotas with BMP canons strapped onto them driving around.
Some people might say it’s bad taste. I’d disagree. If Dodge can use the American revolution for advertising, is that any better than insurgents in the Middle East or Africa?
