EVs are gaining popularity in Finland – but perform significantly worse in inspections than petrol, diesel or hybrid cars of the same age. Teslas have by far the highest test failure rate.
It would help if they released a table of data for this. Its states that the average ‘reject’ rate after four years is 5% of petrols, 11% of diesels, and 16% of EVs, but includes teslas with a 49% reject rate inside that category.
Without knowing the total number of failures for each make/model, it is very difficult to say that EVs in general are peforming worse, and not just being dragged down by the inclusion of swasticars.
