How are you going to blame the west when Islam and Middle Eastern religions have been around FAR longer than any country in the west has existed. They’ve always had extreme positions and practices in comparison to what we deem socially acceptable now.

I want to say no, because there are sheds in Scotland (~100 BC) older than Islam (~600 AD), and 600 AD in Europe we had shitton of Kingdoms etc, but maybe I didn’t understand your point? Could you explain what did you mean?
Scotland wasn’t a thing in 600AD 100BC (Misread) even if that shed existed. All I meant was that the religions predate what is now considered western countries. It was to show blaming the western world makes absolutely no sense.
