This was a bit over a year ago so it’s not exactly like we’re talking about some old and super loud one either hehe
Anyway I’m making the phone call to the hospital on Monday to see if I can get an appointment with the same doc, otherwise I can book online at another hospital, I noticed there are a lot of available slots even for next week. It’ll cost me like 5 euros for the doctor’s appointment and then about 90 to buy the actual CPAP as they told me (national health insurance pays most, but not all of it). It’s as close to free as you can get, honestly.
I can’t be sure what machine they’ll give me this time (it all goes through the doctor, AFAIK they look at logs and then configure it as needed after the trial period?), but the one I was given for a trial period last time was a Löwenstein Prisma of some type too.
Just get the CPAP. It’d awesome IMHO. And the new ones are basically silent

That’s great! Just be sure you don’t get a Philips machine (see: https://www.legalexaminer.com/texaminer/medical-devices/philips-cpap-class-action-agreement-reached-while-cpap-injury-lawsuits-continue/)
I have a Löwenstein prisma smart max. No complains about it.
