      Not to mention massively defunding education across the board, and running on a platform of anti-science and anti-immigration, just to make sure that the lack of qualified persons can’t be filled by non-Americans.

      I feel like this is mostly Obama’s fault for being a neoliberal ideologue who dismantled NASA in favor the the free market solution of giving billions of tax dollars to a random South African racist because they cofounded PayPal.

        Dude, Falcon 9 is almost singlehandedly propping up the entire western launch market. If it weren’t for Falcon 9, we would be totally reliant on Soyuz for the ISS crew rotations, and CALT would be the most prolific launch service provider each year.
