A baby. As soon as my son was born I knew we’d have another. And we did. Then I had a vasectomy because I knew we’d never stop. Babies are cool.
One day I was cleaning out my second child’s too small clothes and legitimately thought “If we have another I won’t have to do this right now.” Babies are cool indeed!
I only have one and getting rid of his stuff he grows out of is one of the hardest things in life.

My mom wanted to make a quilt out of his old shirts from when he was little, but ~7 years on hasn’t attempted anything more than collecting shirts.
I always wished for a third or fourth but we effective an out of time. First was I don’t care if it’s boy or girl as long as it’s healthy. Second I wanted boy because two of the same is easier. But another opportunity for a little girl would have been nice. Babies are cool, kids are cool, teens are cool and college kids are cool. I can’t wait to meet the young adults they are becoming
