Republican lawmakers say it now appears certain that a discharge petition that’s being circulated in the House by Reps. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) will get enough signatures by the end of the month to force a vote on a bill directing Bondi to release the Epstein files.
Massie and Khanna are only one vote short of getting 218 signatures to force a vote on their bill.
Once Arizona holds a special election Sept. 23 to fill the vacant seat of Rep. Raúl Grijalva (D-Ariz.), who died earlier this year, they’re likely to reach the threshold
The senator observed that when Bondi said in February that a list of Epstein’s clients “is sitting on” her “desk right now to review,” she created a huge expectation that the administration would reveal the names of the well-connected and wealthy men who participated in Epstein’s sexual exploitation of girls and teenagers.
“That was really unwise,” the lawmaker said.
It was really unwise for the person leading the department of justice to imply she could somehow bring justice?
“now appears certain” is not the same thing as inevitable.
I’d bet some or all of them have been outright destroyed by now, since there’s no respect for procedures or the rule of law in any branch of the US govt any more and whomever has actual physical access is probably a stooge loyal to the regime by this point.

That’s not even a question, a top DOJ official straight up told a date that’s exactly what they were going to be doing.
It is filled with the name “Bill Clinton” over and over again over white-out.
Did you know the names “Bill Clinton” and “Donald Trump” have the same number of letters? Pretty handy.
As far as I’m concerned, they release it unredacted, or else we get to assume every redacted name is Donald J. Trump.
But I’m also in camp, “We’ll never even know about all the shit they had time to destroy.”
AND I’M ALSO IN CAMP, “I heard Trump would really be getting sent to jail any day now for about four years, so maybe nothing will happen.”
