So many times I have given up on a business website because, after clicking on “prove that you are human” 5 or 6 times in the Cloudflare page and still being asked to click again, I have moved on to a competitor who doesn’t put me through that nonsense.

    In many cases Cloudfare is used for a reason – without it, you wouldn’t have a chance to get to the site at all: it would be just dead under DDOS.

      Can confirm: At work all of our customers with cloudflare have been (D)DOSed and had to switch to cloudflare to stay operational. There are also some alternatives, but they will also show a CAPTCHA if they can’t confirm your browser is not a bot. The criminals are to blame this is necessary.
