As always, we’d love to hear your thoughts. Stay safe, Proton Team
“On windows”. Meh.
Proton addressed this a while back. They do Windows first because that’s where most of their user base is
They certainly do Windows first, Linux equivalent’s will sit in limbo for god knows how long.
That’s fair, but I’m leaving Proton because their Linux support is abysmal on most products and I can’t do a lot of things as a result.
I do hope they find success catering to Windows, though.
That’s fair. I’m still sticking with them because their vpn still works fine on linux and protondrive isn’t essential for me
For me, the main issue I could no longer deal with is I couldn’t make my Proton calendar sync with third party apps, so I would not have my mail and calendar in the same place and I would miss meetings.
Not having proton drive really hurts too when I’m paying for it.
I had their legacy proton vpn plus planned and they moved me over to proton unlimited for the same price. So I’m sticking with them cause it’s a fucking bargain
Good to see Windows continues to see rapid development while the Linux version continues to not exist.
What’s Windows? Never heard of it.
What about “Easily export photos from Google Photos to literally anywhere I want”? That’s what I would like to see from Google.
But that’s not Google. That’s Proton.
Yes, I know. Google doesn’t provide a way to export photos in a sensible manner.
you can use Google takeout to download everything
