I visit that rocket a lot, it’s always the perfect rest stop to stretch the legs, grab a snack, marvel at such a crazy machine just perched on a concrete slab kind of in the middle of nowhere… Rt 118 is such a nice drive from there up to 112/Lincoln, it’s one of my favorite roads to drive or ride. It was my brother’s first time riding 118, and he agreed that it is one of the better roads up in the mountains!
