But take a piece of turf overworked by undocumented migrants for sub-living wage until the soil erodes and local water reserves are exhausted in order to produce stock feed for beef cows. Does it become a good farm because Bill Gates or Muhammad bin Salman owns it, but a bad farm because Jack Ma owns it?
I honestly don’t see a difference from their billionaires owning our farms and our billionaires owning our farms. Neither will give a shit. The fact that corporations and individuals are allowed to have that much control over humanities agriculture is the issue.
