    I think it’s more understandable in English to be fair. Altho I was reading about his crossing of the Rubicon just the other day! Very cool stuff.

      On an English-speaking site, surely!

      But it’s also an international phrase instantly understood across a range of cultures and languages. Plus, I’d say that Zach and his audience tending to be pretty well-educated and intelligent on the whole, they’d tend to appreciate the little twist.

        Haha, I do see that I’m being anglo-centric with that.

        The phrase just totally didn’t stick in my brain when I was reading about it. I appreciate that I’m probably in the minority, though - I just wouldn’t have recognised it immediately!
