I love how far Denmark is away form the rest of Scandinavia
But Chile don’t have border with Paraguay
Maybe it’s based on the map before the Paraguay war, when Argentina took a chunk off of Paraguay.
Its a lot more recognizable (to me) rotated 90 degrees, so that north is up
It’s using the most traditional map notation, with Orient up. The word orientation comes from that, by the way.

No exclaves were considered for this.
Was about to complain about the lack of connection between Poland and Russia.
Nor were several actual borders. Bolivia/Argentina for one
There were non existing borders too, like Paraguay and Chile. It’s safe to say that up to date South American geography isn’t the author’s forte.
