This sucks. Road to the Spear was everything the show needed to be. Personally I recommended the show to a good dozen people who read the books or who would enjoy the series and between them all they watched 0 episodes. No one even bothered to give it a shot.

Not surprised, I’m a huge WoT fan and this show barely kept my attention. The pacing was terrible, most of the new plots were forgettable at best, and the special effects were really bad.

This kind of story really should be animated, maybe next time.

I’m also a big WoT fan, I have read the entire book series multiple times. I wasn’t a fan of the show, they threw out perfectly good story lines to invent things that weren’t even good. For at least the first 2 seasons the costumes and set design looked really bad in my opinion. I did feel like it had maybe gotten better in season 3 (the Rhuidean episode was pretty good even.)
