They were quite literally funding a genocide and then somehow thought pointing out [the very real] fascist intent of the Republican plans would play in their favor.

Edit: it seems none of you have understood my point.

At no point did I say Republicans were not also backing genocide. Only that, maybe, just maybe, Democrats could have NOT done so, to give people an actual choice on that issue.

I understand you prefer binary arguments where saying one bad thing about someone automatically means the opponent has to be good on that topic, but the world doesn’t work like that.

Like, do you not grasp that international relations is a thing?

Do you not fathom that when an important ally, the most important in the Middle East, ramps up a conflict they’ve had with another nation for our entire lives, that it’s not exactly a simple subject? That you can’t just say “Welp, you’re being mean to someone else, so fuck you our relationship is over”?

Biden repeatedly spoke out against Netanyahu’s tactics. He started threatening to hold up arms shipments and impose sanctions. These are the proper steps to take before resorting to losing one of your most important allies.

Then Americans chose fascism and now the situation is much worse.

Ah yes, we’re going to downplay systemic genocide as “being mean” now? To make this seem like a simple, laughable little faux pas. What a piece of shit you are.

The proper steps to stopping that shit is not go : " no, please…stop…" And continue shoveling those weapons to them, actively enabling the behavior we want to stop.

Israel was trying to drag us into a war with Iran as well, attacking them hoping they could hide behind the US. For two years. No change in weapon shipments. Clearly he did a bad fucking job. Whining about it being complicated doesn’t unfuck up the job he did.

Dude they want to nuke Gaza, while Biden was pushing for peace. But to you it’s all the same and “b b b b both sides same”. This is why you project “you prefer binary arguments”. Ciao.

It’s amazing how garbage your reading comprehension can be and you still think you have an argument.

I know Republicans are worse. I’m saying Biden did a weak as fuck job pushing for peace which exasperated the already present voter apathy. Continuing to repeat yourself while missing the entire point of what I’m saying does not make you look any less fucking stupid for missing it.

They literally refuse to admit that an entire apparatus of a party wanting something, and then a handful of members wanting something of another party are not the same.

Then they have the gall to complain that the democrats didn’t personally promise them a pony and a unicorn so they didn’t vote.

Maybe not actively assisting in a genocide = wanting a personal pony

Now, apparently. Like, that bar is literally on the floor, and you’re making excuses why they couldn’t meet that challenge
