When I read the headline I assumed that this was political retaliation by the authoritarian Trump regime. It’s so hard to tell which authoritarian regime these headlines refer to, now.

The best way I’ve heard it put is that Bukele hasn’t imprisoned thousands, he has liberated millions. Say what you want about the dude but he rescued his country.
