Not too hard to install a different call/message app that works better / free with built in spam protection like … Google Phone/Messages.

Or even just SpamBlocker.

This is like people paying for AOL when they were also paying their cable companies for broadband. Lol. Or too lazy to move their AOL mail to gmail or something something.
