TIL there can be cardboard in doors
Let’s be real, that “door” was about to dissolve from the ambient moisture in the air.
If it’s a scientist’s house, could that be a lab door retriever?
If a dog is able to destroy you door, you should consider if it was necessary at all.

Was he after something or was that out of boredom?
Some dogs that have severe separation anxiety will tear through doors like that. I’ve even heard of them going through drywall.
After their human most likely. Seperation anxiety can cause stuff like this
