When you find stuff like this, don’t post pictures of it. Post a relatively vague description, and then make the person who claims it fill in the details to you to make sure it’s really theirs.
If they have the lock that this key opens it’s good enough identification for me.
Don’t feel dirty for helping out, you’re doing the right thing.
