Miles is the protagonist of easily the best super hero films since The Incredibles. Into The Spider-Verse is a universally acclaimed masterpiece. I don’t think Insomniac need any luck; Miles is pretty popular already.
Miles is absolutely established as a hero of his own merit and right. Thats not a question. He absolutely stands shoulder to shoulder with parker.
But does he pass parker? Can he surpass what a lot of people consider to be the best marvel super hero, in his own costume and title? I dunno, Im not sure on that.
If you ask some randoms on the street “Who is spiderman?” I bet 99% will not say Miles Morales. If that changes its gonna be a while imo
