        Maybe to the audience, but do the Sith believe they’re evil? Does any evil person? Everyone is the good guy in their own story.

          Of all characters, yes Emperor Palpatine knows he is evil and he loves it. Sometimes villains are nuanced and sympathetic. Sometimes they are evil space wizards who are passionate for the game.

            Palpatine is the absolute only instance that the evil wizards plot fucking worked.

            Bro was just yucking it up between episode 2 and 6. He couldn’t fucking believe how well it worked. He was so giddy.

          Legends’ Sith are mostly about might makes right. They don’t really care about good or evil. Can’t really speak for whatever changed, if anything, on the new canon.
