When he got past LeClerc, he was making up between 3 and 5 tenths each lap, if he wasn’t told to swap back, he would have been very close by the end. If they swapped him sooner on fresher tires, he probably would have gained the position.

Because he, Lewis, had DRS he was able to gain on Leclarc? Once he was past Leclarc he didn’t have it and then Charles was on his tail, telling him to speed up because now he was stuck. They wanted to run calculations to see if Hamilton was given the lead would he make it…or will Leclarc’s tires would come around and be able to beat Hamilton in the long run because Hamilton’s tires will only be great for 4-5 more laps? I think they, Ferrari, need some help with strategy but I just saw it as Hamilton frustrated and having a hissy fit that he wasn’t just given what he thought he was due right when he asked for it. Maybe he can wear another one of those rockstar fluffy jackets to the track…make sure everyone swoons over his style.

      Proof...

      Can't deny this one.

No, I’m just not part of the Hamilton club. He’s an incredible driver, but his attitude sucks. In most people’s eyes he can do no wrong. Virtual safety car gave him the easier overtake with Sainz. Sainz less than a second behind Hamilton he’s already wanting Leclarc to swap, lap 36? He is past Leclarc late lap 38? So I see a full 2 laps of trying to figure out tires and Sainz before saying go ahead. The whole time Hamilton making shitty remarks, meanwhile Leclarc’s tires were improving. He was defending against Sainz(which allowed Hamilton an easier pass), pre vsc, and is now pulling away. The give it back was only fair…and he did cry about that one. That wasn’t a burn to the pit wall, it was a hissy fit that he had to give the position back.

His attitude towards his directionless team? They would be better off with him calling the orders. Charles would likely benefit as well.

No…his whole demeanor. On and off the track. I agree Ferrari needs an overhaul. Charles has been screwed by them for several years now. Hamilton was a primadonna long before Ferrari though. His “I’m a rockstar” and “Look at me” just puts me off. You don’t see other drivers showing up dressed like he’s Zoolander. Downvote all you want😂 Just because I speak against the grain here…I said he’s an incredible driver.

The 4-5 laps of waiting I see as being completely wrong. Sainz was within .5 until lap 36. If Leclarc would have did a little lift to give Hamilton the spot they would have risked losing that place, Leclarc would risk being passed that is, to Sainz. Hindsight is 20/20 though.

              Look at me!

              Prince?

Correct…it’s just a visual for example of how he acts though. And his on track performance the last few years? The fan club just keeps hanging on though. He was whining the whole time verstapen was dominating and he just has to be center of attention so he didn’t want to wait for Mercedes to get the car right. He asked for the FIA to step in and slow them down. Now a rookie and his previous second are a minute ahead? He is whining, rightly so now that Ferrari is screwing him…but he is whining. He made the choice that shocked his long time friend Toto now live with it. Did he think Ferrari was going to change instantly when he showed up??? Did he not see Ferrari screwing Sainz and Leclarc repeatedly???

AGAIN…I think he was an incredible driver but people are so enthralled with him that they are blind to everything else. Go ahead, downvote away.
