Cartoon Network Studios has been inactive for YEARS, with their original headquarters shut down and no new shows coming out. However, the Annecy Animation Festival revealed panels celebrating Cartoon Network and Warner Bros Discovery. We’ll see announcements about new Adventure Time, new Regular Show, The Amazing World of Gumball, The Powerpuff Girls, and maybe even a few surprise reveals…
At this point, they’ve shown too much raw stupidity to care.
And if all they’re doing is rehashing the same stuff again, why care? They screwed up the powerpuff reboot when they tried it, so why assume they’d do better now, tune in, and just be disappointed?
I canceled my cable subscription and they pulled many shows from max. It sucks to suck, but it’s still a safe bet they will continue to suck. I hope this is different and might see more renewed interest in AS as well.
