The problem here is that Zelenskyy isn’t mentally incapacitated, like trump. He, like all people endowed with reasoning abilities, understands that ceding land will just invite further subjugation.
We Americans sure as fuck would say no, and we shouldn’t expect any different from others.
Trump is either a Russian asset or the next best thing so it’s not as though anything he says or does is in good faith to begin with.
