I’ll start

I live in the South West, United States. Furthermore, I am a Xennial . I was transient from about the age of 15 - 30. I’ve been around the block a few times. I am a caregiver for high functioning adults with special needs. I just fell into the job and never expected to do this kind of work. I am told I am pretty good at it, and it is fulfilling work.

Also, I like to play video games, watch movies, and read. I look totally normal, for the most part. I haven’t flown my goth flag since I was 17, besides wearing all black on occasion.

I’ve been using message boards since I was 15, back in the modemer days when you had to call the admin to get let in. I’ve modded my own private sub on reddit for multiple years. I wrote for disinfo.com for a few years before it got ruined by an incompetent asshole.

I am a huge music nerd, and I feel like I am in the right place.

    Hey, interesting post, you might not get a lot of engagement bc I think many people only look at lemmy while at work. Personally I think when I post before noon US time I get more European views.

    Anyway… uh… besides music I like !bmoviebonanza@lemmy.world and !sumo@lemmy.world … my favorite pokemon are Psyduck and Wobbuffet and Meowth… I’m currently playing Rome: Total War on my phone… I used to read books a lot more, I kind of miss that.

      I didn’t know Total War is on mobile. I play Marvel Snap on my phone while at work, lol.

      My favorite Pokemon is Psyduck, I just like it.
