House Republicans have voted down an effort to block immigration enforcers from using federal resources to detain or deport U.S. citizens.

During a House Judiciary Committee meeting on Wednesday, Democrats tabled amendments to a sweeping budget bill that President Donald Trump has dubbed “one big, beautiful bill.”

One amendment introduced by Representative Pramila Jayapal, the Democrat from Washington state, sought to make clear Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) cannot detain or deport U.S. citizens under any circumstances. GOP lawmakers killed that amendment.

And no I’m not criticizing you for criticizing them. That’s a straw man. They deserve criticism.

I’ll never see you breathe a word of unprompted criticism for the biden administration or for netanyahu and his genocide. Ever.

What I’m criticizing you for is assisting the fascist media. And the fascists themselves.

Bullshit. Anything that wasn’t vociferous support for the bidenyahu genocide was helping trump, according to people who were fine with trump winning as long as it meant their precious genocide continued unabated.

Placing the the blame for something that is a problem with the entire system and Society at large

I blame people who sell weapons for genocide for selling weapons for genocide.

    solely on Biden and Harris.

I blame all netanyahu’s simps in the US. Not just biden and harris. But when it comes right down to it, their administration actively assisted an ongoing genocide by providing it with arms, all the while claiming that they were working on a ceasefire that it’s clear that neither they nor any of their supporters, especially you, wanted.

The absence of constant criticism for the system that made their stance politically expedient and necessary.

If their stance was politically expedient, they might have won. They made an unpopular stand for centrists’ only policy and you ate it up because you love the results. Lots of dead Palestinians and you don’t have to fight for anything for at least four years. And you get a shaky justification for blaming anyone who dared to be upset at your genocide.

The lack of criticism for Republicans who cheered on the genocide, literally made people think Republicans were better

I criticized democrats when their support for your genocide came up. On a fledgling platform full of centrists who oppose progressives but not genocide. Who is it do you think I forced into the idiotic belief that republicans were better? The only people pretending that was a thing are people who don’t want their genocide to end until completion, regardless of which party completes it for them.

What ever minimal impact the ratchet effect has. It pales in the face of that simple fact.

Yes, the party using its power and influence to support genocide and hold back anything you lie about wanting pales in comparison to one gadfly on a platform full of centrists that only get upset when someone tells them that genocide isn’t the greatest thing ever.

When you grow up and become an adult.

Condescension is how centrists react when someone wants to hold them accountable for their unwavering support for genocide and only genocide.

I’ll never see you breathe a word of unprompted criticism for the biden administration or for netanyahu and his genocide. Ever.

Then you’ve not actually read much of what I’ve posted. That’s on you.

Bullshit. Anything that wasn’t vociferous support for the bidenyahu genocide was helping trump, according to people who were fine with trump winning as long as it meant their precious genocide continued unabated.

Not at all. But I expect childish bad faith responses from you. Seriously all you had to say was “yeah things got out of hand, I made a mistake attacking everyone who disagreed with me. And let myself be manipulated by my emotions” and I would have been like I think we can all understand and relate to that respect, out. Instead I’m going to have to keep calling you out as the childish hypocrite you are. Something I would rather not do. But there’s no choice.
