I didn’t have a vulva until two years ago, but always been a woman. So often people just speak over you.
The best one is when men who don’t do the same job as you start explaining your job to you :‘) happened multiple times both in composition and community work :’)
People speaking over me has indeed always been a thing, both before and after transitioning. The mansplaining otoh started after I came out and started hrt.
Oh, ugh, I hated that part of working in tech. Double-whammy here: vagina-bearer and in marketing. I had to push back on that so often…
