You can’t get a replacement SIM or phone without ID, and money.
You need several forms of ID to get anything from your bank if your card is missing.
They just moved weeks ago from another state and may not have had a local bank yet.
The mother asked for a business card or some sort of paperwork to try to get their stuff back or at least know who to talk to, ICE refused.
They took the mom, and adolescent daughters out of the house in underwear, wouldn’t let them get dressed, possibly cause ICE believed they would hide any illegal immigrants in their vaginas? Unsure.
Instead of looking at the situation and coming to the logical conclusion that the people are not involved, they were fucking disgusting wannabe Stasi police, making America great one traumatized little girl at a time.
I fully agree with you and think that this is the logical consequence of fascist thinking. This event is unconscionable and I presume that there is a line of lawyers waiting to offer their services. They will be made whole and then some…eventually. I feel terrible for the trauma they gave gone through.
