I advocate separate duvets. My wife won’t agree.

The romantics never said anything about the farts on thighs and I did not consent to being in anyone else’s Dutch oven.

My husband and I have separate blankets. Allows for better temperature regulation (he runs way hotter than me), and we never fight over the blanket.

We were traveling in Austria last year and this is apparently the norm there. Every hotel had separate “single” duvets on each half of the bed.

I’m from there and didn’t know this wasn’t a global thing haha. Partner and I have two blankets but usually fall asleep under the same one. If someone gets too hot they just take the other blanket.

It’s crazy to me that a hotel would only provide one duvet, never seen that. What if you’re travelling with a friend and the line is just between sharing a bed and sharing a blanket?
