The morality of the meme was “You think Israel controls US when it is US who controls Israel”. I say it’s a very bold claim either way. They have aligned ideals but they can’t be considered only as the tool of the other.
Clearly if US were to stop funding Israel’s plans they would not be able to fight as much, but US also benefit from Israel with weaponry, war engineering and intel.

I think Nasarallah is right, the full quote is that the Israel lobby conspiracy was created by the Arabs so they could feel ok taking American money and depositing money there. The Israel lobby is comprised of Americans. Netanyahu, though born in Israel, was raised in the US.
