Americans barely remember the Mexican-American War, but in Mexico memories of the war and other military quarrels with the United States remain deeply felt.

Mexico lost half its territory, including California, in the war that broke out this week in 1846.

Today, Mexico is once again locked in battle with the United States, this time facing an American president who is hurling insults, tariffs and threatening U.S. drone strikes here. Many see it as just the latest chapter in an age-old tale of U.S. aggression.

“In Mexico there’s a perception that the United States is the villain of our story,” said historian Alejandro Rosas. “That’s the narrative you grow up with, it’s what they teach you in school. We’ve been victims of the United States forever.”

That’s what de Volkskrant and Nieuwsuur have uncovered in their investigation.” “the Dutch intelligence agency AIVD penetrated the computer network of a university adjacent to Red Square back in 2014, only to later realize they had tapped into APT29, aka Cozy Bear, one of the Russian government-affiliated organizations that penetrated the DNC and targeted other US government departments”. “It was Dutch intelligence operatives that hacked into some of Russia’s own institutions – including their closed-circuit television cameras.”

3. Putin and Surkov’s “Operation Matthew 4:19” global manipulation of everyday people included turning social media consumers into Russian assets of the Hybrid Warfare who deliberately spread measles and COVID-19 virus during the pandemic. Johns Hopkins University and George Washington University validated evidence going back to year 2014.

4. Absolutely no defense has been found against this Hybrid Warfare since it was unleashed in March 2013. “At the NATO summit in Wales last week, General Philip Breedlove, the military alliance’s top commander, made a bold declaration. Russia, he said, is waging “the most amazing information warfare blitzkrieg we have ever seen in the history of information warfare.” It was something of an underestimation. The new Russia doesn’t just deal in the petty disinformation, forgeries, lies, leaks, and cyber-sabotage usually associated with information warfare. It reinvents reality, creating mass hallucinations”

5. It is not only leaders and public figures. The Kremlin created 5,000 artificial reality screen games (alternate reality media consumer screen games) in late 2012 / early 2013 with Cambridge Analytica psychologists and psychiatrists to induce self-harm, egoism, self-destruction, anti-humanism, anti-goodness, reactionary thinking in the population. “Британские учёные из Cambridge Analytica предложили сделать из 5 тысяч существующих человеческих психотипов - “идеальный образ” возможного сторонника Трампа. 6. Russia openly gloated after 6 full years since the alternate reality screen game deployment, in February 2019 that the American People, We The People, are mentally owned / that Russia manipulated hearts and minds: Americans who worry about Russia election interference should stop focusing on such trivialities and instead realize that the idea that they have a choice over how they are governed is a mere illusion, Vladislav Surkov, an adviser to Russian President Vladimir Putin, wrote in an op-ed published this week. “The illusion of choice is the most important illusion, the main trick of Western democracy especially…. The rejection of this illusion in favor of the reality that everything is predestined will allow society to reflect first on our vision of democratic development,” Surkov wrote. “Foreign politicians talk about Russia’s interference in elections and referendums around the world. In fact, the matter is even more serious: Russia interferes in your brains, we change your conscience, and there is nothing you can do about it.”
