I have the sub !diy_adventure_videos@lemmy.world. Now, in my profile, there are two of them; the former and also !diy_and_adventure_videos@lemmy.world (deleted by creator), which is empty, and I am not even a member, yet I am the moderator.
Might as well be my mistake, but I never noticed it before, so I guess it’s a new thing?
Maybe the empty sub could be purged?

just for your information, only YOU (or admins) can still see the deleted sub. Purging is not necessary in this case as purging should only be the last resort option.
Ah ok, in this case all is good. I can live with that, thanks for the clarification.
If you’re a mod, you can lock the un-needed /c or restrict posts to mods-only, update the name to say something like (deprecated), add a post with a link to the active /c, etc. to direct anyone who comes across the unneeded /c.
