SOMA gave me existential vibes like no other and gave me quite a lot to think about in regards to my own my life choices
It really is a unique experience. There are of course books that provide a more impactful view on existentialism. But books are passive. Soma is one of its kind in terms of active media, where you are the protagonist (on some level).
It’s one of those games that I think highlights that video games can be art.

I fully agree and I wish that others would seriously consider giving games a try before shelving them and only considering them as mere toys.
