I have an S10. A 22 year old, 2-wheel drive compact pickup. I routinely visit a sawmill in that truck. For grocery trips I’ve got an old Buick I’m trying to wear out.
I have a 10 year old ford suv. It’s got a tow hitch for the atvs, AWD for the snow in the mountains, but is otherwise a comfy leather couch to cruise around in and neatly backs into a compact car spot. The giant pavement princesses are just obnoxious
I could see owning a pickup truck the size of a 90’s F-150. I would like a bed that has a proper 4x8 area on the floor of the bed to carry full sheets of plywood, flat on the deck. But I don’t need the machine to be that much bulkier than my S10. I live in the middle of North Carolina, it snows 6 times a decade here. I use my pickup to carry lumber, furniture, trash etc. on paved roads.
