I’m late to reply but putting deodorant on before bed is actually recommended - it takes around 6-8 hours for it to fully sink in and work! I do the same thing. What I was specifically mentioning in my op was bug spray. I used bug repellent(Off is a brand) before bed in high school because of flea infestations my mom refused to fix. I don’t do this (and don’t have to unless I’m camping) anymore thankfully.
Thanks cor the clarification. Didn’t realize you meant bug spray. Never had to use that fortunately but it doesn’t sound like fun at all, living with an infestation.
Also, TIL about the 6-8 hours. That’s a long time actually.
Shaking the towel is not weird IMO. I do that always because sometimes those dryer lint balls stick to laundry. I’d hate to get that on my wet body.
The body spray, I put on deodorant before sleeping to keep my pits fresh since I shower before bed. Works wonders!
