This system is flawed “on paper” because they inact something they… read on paper. It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy. I don’t even want to call them nihilistic because nihilism implies a certain level of self awareness and possible kindness.
I’m genuinely afraid of the amount of machiavellianism that is coming in the US. I’m terrified by the prospect of “effective” politics. It’s an undeniable future. What do you do when your adversary is also your neighbor, who won’t stop shilling for conman?
