The police then say, “yeah, we have them surrounded and they can’t get away. Alternative is you show empathy for the civilians and you go do the difficult task of eradicating the terrorists with soldiers on the ground. More Israeli soldiers die, for sure, but a whole lot less civilians and children die and the world empathizes with your difficulty, maybe even the Palestinian people.
But unfortunately the current Israeli government hasn’t been treating the Palestinians like humans, and isn’t about to start.
