I participated there for so long before I realized, I thought the few people who complained were just trolls or salty people. I was very wrong.

    They also will happily assume my gender, one of their trolls just did while harassing me. Shows that they really don’t care about LGBTQ rights or acceptance.

        That seems very accurate. I actually made a post on those right wing talking points specifically about Lemmy Dev @nutomic@lemmy.ml saying them to someone when they asked him about making a Lemmy plugin. It was really bad.
