Dogequest said it will remove the personal details of Tesla drivers only if they can prove they have sold their vehicles.

It is unknown if all the names listed on the map are Tesla owners. In New Jersey, the site listed close to 50 alleged owners.

NBC News spoke to six Tesla owners or their representatives who confirmed that at least some information on the website was accurate, though other owners said that in some cases phone numbers or addresses were out of date.

Considering one of their statement literally says that to prove you shouldn’t be doxxed you have to give out even more private info, it seems pretty telling.

That’s incredibly fair. They shouldn’t have had the money for those vehicles in the first place.

Sell them, get something cheaper, and use the money to help people that will never be able to afford a fucking tesla.

Especially now, selling a Model 3 to get something cheaper is going to be in “car is probably falling apart” territory. Those things are relatively cheap on the used car market now, less than you’d expect a random 2020 sedan to cost.
