It was really great! Can’t wait for the next, though, where all the Aiels see their Car’a’carn.
This is the sequence I was most looking forward to out of all of this show. There are some phenomenal moments to come, but this was something I’ve dearly wanted to see represented and they nailed it. Some pieces were cut for time but I was really happy with how much they kept and the little touches I saw on other forums with the subtitled old tongue where they made small nods to parts of the lore. So excited to see what comes next

I was gripped throughout. It was already getting good but this single episode made me understand what’s so good about the books. My partner read through the entire series but she knows I don’t want to be spoiled and kept shush so far. I knew important stuff is coming from all the glances I was getting lol.
I wanted to avoid it but now I have to read the whole thing. Fuck.
As a book fan this is the first one that has felt close to the books without loads of random shit thrown in or changed for no perceivable reason. They really did the history of the Aiel well and devoted loads of time to telling the story as it was written. There is the tiny exception that they go back to The Bore but not further back to where the past becomes the future, but it was still done very well. There were some nice little show inserts that hinted at the past lives of Matt and Perrin being drawn to Rand, too which I really liked.

Just finished it a few minutes ago and yeah, it was really great! I was really excited to see Rhuidean in the show and they truly delivered!
