So with season 3 of the show fast approaching and a general idea of the material it will cover what are you looking forward to seeing on screen? What scenes do you think they might fumble and which are impossible to screw up?
For myself I think I’m most looking forward to Road to the Spear. Book 4 is my favorite and I think this will be incredible on screen. I’m also looking forward to seeing the battle of Emond’s field, and hopefully the first appearance of the Finns with Matt. I feel like Perrin finding out about his family is going to be heartbreaking and I don’t think they can mess that up even. I’m more worried about iconic scenes in the Wastes like the meeting at Alcair Dal, and Perrin’s meeting with Noam.
So how about all of you? What are you looking forward to?
Well, not a veteran, currently reading book 11 for the first time, but I’m really looking forward to Rhuidean, it felt like the first time we were actually getting answers instead of more questions and it was spectacular.
Also Matt is pretty awesome after Rhuidean. I’m actually glad they moved the storyline around a bit, because having to wait for that storyline until season 4 would suck.
Rhuidean is so cool. I’m really looking forward to seeing how they imagine the scene where the Aiel are given their task
