Yeah, it’s hard to tell if it really is worth the effort. I don’t think a back and forth essay debate is worth the time they usually take but maybe just one person will get thinking more critically because of it. Or maybe a response will make me rethink my own position and either end up at a new position or being better informed about my original position.
