And that’s a wrap. Best I can do for tomorrow’s theme soap is 2/6 notes, so this is as far as I go. This has been mostly fun and I’ve never learned as much about fragrances in general and what scent notes I have floating around in my den specifically as in this month. The low points were less fun so I’m kinda relieved I’m done now, even though I’d been going to make it to the end of the month. On the other hand, going out on a full match is a neat coincidence. Once again, a sample I’ve traded for a Lather Games preparation.
Congratulations to @sahenders@sub.wetshaving.social for his well-deserved and remarkably drama-free juggernaut march to victory with his exceptionally well-curated and diverse den.

My much-awaited set of Seaforth! Leather arrived yesterday. I was super curious and a bit worried because leather scents are hit or miss for me, and I know bay mostly in bay rum context which often give me a sickly sweet impression.
I was delighted when I got a warm citrus opening with none of the feared bay sickliness, and the leather comes through butter smooth. The fragrance lets the coriander come through more with the initial citrus, which is delightful. I’m looking forward to using this set more in the upcoming weeks.
