I’m posting because originally when I was looking to create a Lemmy account I came across Hexbear. I read the code of conduct and TOS and to me it seemed like a great fit for me. However, after creating an account there, it seems pretty defederated.
Anyway I was curious on the happenings over there, because they have some cute custom emojis over there… but if there’s a reason they’re so defederated, I might just pretend i never made an account there

Not always true about the good faith. If you go against their core beliefs like “left unity” even outside their spaces, you can get in their shit list and get piled on. Happened to me in my own instance community.
