One of the most shocking features of Israel’s 15-month campaign of violence against Gaza’s population was the US political class’s refusal, even in the face of mounting evidence, to call what was happening a genocide.
What was that saying? So simple it was like two words… it’s on the tip of my tongue… bah! I forgot.
It’s hard to say given the distortion modern media has as to how many real humans actually have an opinion vs. what benefits those in a powerful position and is preferred by them and is “fit to print”, but I read a surprising number of Jewish folks happy to align themselves with violence in Palestine and the American ascendent fascists who are taking things domestically down a road that was trod not long ago. Like, “the undesirables” list is nearly identical. Tragic.
