Brush: Zenith 506B MB (27 mm × 51 mm Manchurian badger)
Razor: Razorine Premium Brass
Blade: Lord New Lord Platinum
Lather: Vitos – Super Extra Coco
Post Shave: Proraso Balsamo Dopobarba Pelli Sensibili
Fragrance: Spearhead Shaving Company – Seaforth! Roman Spice
So, today’s theme is remembering a dictator taking permanent power and giving the coup de grâce to a centuries old republic. Mkay 😅
Vitos is an odd soap, it’s so hard that it crumbles into fine dust when pressed into a bowl, but it lathers beautifully. If it had a nice scent (or any scent, at this point), I think I’d use it more often.
I have a few Italian razors, but the Razorine is the most fun (in a gimmicky sense). I don’t use it often, so today’s shave was slow and not equally close everywhere. The little Manchurian Zenith is currently my favourite brush, and also Italian.
Only the frag is not from Italy, but Roman Spice can’t really be missing from this Roman shave.
